Your Day 41 is Coming!

“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” (Matthew 4:1)

Before the miracles.

Before the crowds.

Before the sermons.

..Was the wilderness.

Before the cross

Before the fulfillment of The Father’s redemptive plan..

..Was the wilderness.

There was hunger.

There was isolation.

There was testing.

Yall, sometimes our 40 in the wilderness feels like eternity

We trudge through the valley, dry..thirsty..isolated..alone

And the distance behind us never seems to exceed that before us..

Yet we walk, crawl, wait, all while the enemy pours seeds of doubt into our hypothetical backpack.

With every negative thought, the bag grows heavier and the journey more tiring.

“You’ll never make it.”

“Just give up.”

And we decide to pitch a tent there..because another step feels virtually impossible.

But notice this — Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.

The wilderness was not punishment.

It was preparation.

And when the enemy whispered, “If You are the Son of God…”

Jesus answered with truth.

“Man shall not live by bread alone…”

He was hungry — yet He refused to let physical lack define spiritual reality.

He was tempted — yet He did not surrender to the enemies lies.

Sometimes waiting is where strength is drawn.

Not by ours.

But His.

Sometimes waiting is for the whisper.

Because whispers cannot be heard amongst the chaos.

And I hear my Father whisper,

“Man shall not live on bread alone. Let Me sustain you.”

“My burden is light. Let Me carry you.”

“I am the Way. Let Me lead you.”

Jesus overcame the wilderness so that we don’t have to face ours alone.

And if we shift our center of focus back to that place where death was defeated..

Those steps grow easier.

The burden lighter.

The darkness less consuming.

And that valley begins to incline ..

Because valleys can’t geographically be valleys without mountains..

So Just Breathe..

40 was preparation.

But 41 is promise.

Because the wilderness was never the destination —

it was the proving ground before purpose.

And after the wilderness?

Ministry began.

Hold on.

Day 41 is coming.
