Be Still and Know That I Am God

God sat me down and began to pour these words into my heart today with a sweet young soul on my mind…
God sat me down and began to pour these words into my heart today with a sweet young soul on my mind…

All the while whispering, “I’m found in the quiet.”

I have no idea why, but it’s in those moments that I trust when God directs my steps to speak into another life.

My only prayer is that they’ll be blessed by His words, while I’m blessed to be a willing vessel.

And that’s all He calls us to be

Stillness…

For me, stillness is often linked to anxiety.

My mind, conditioned for constant activity, feels overwhelmed..guilted..

sedentary..

…STUCK.

But perhaps it's in the quiet, when transformation awaits.

It’s allowing oneself to empty of the world around you, and be filled with God’s will and divine purpose.

Being still isn't about silencing the external noise.

It's about quieting the storms within.

It's laying down our anxieties, and opening the deepest chambers of our hearts to God, in preparation for those soft whispers.

Elijah didn’t hear God amidst the chaos.

He was found in the silence..

In the soft whisper of the wind.

If you’re finding yourself in a season of stillness today, maybe you’re not stuck at all..

Maybe He’s positioning you to a place of clarity that is often drowned out by the roar of this world.

“Be still, and know that I am God."

- Psalm 46:10

Because

Transformation awaits.
