Don't Give Up!

"Let us not grow weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galations 6:9

Some seasons seem to last forever…

Prayers feel muted.

Progress appears unseen.

And weariness, the uninvited guest, persistently knocks…

Keep going..

A farmer doesn’t unearth his seed the next day just because he can’t see its growth right away.

He waits..

He trusts..

He cares for that small seed with patience and faith that it WILL yield a harvest.

He doesn’t lose hope..

He doesn’t tear up the field.

He waits..

Because he knows that miracles are taking shape long before they emerge.

Don’t lose hope…

God is at work in places you cannot see.

Your prayers are acknowledged..

Your tears are collected..

The seeds you’ve sown are being nurtured..

A harvest is on its way.

So when today feels burdensome, don’t judge it by what you see — judge it by your commitment to keep moving forward.

Sometimes the most potent prayer is,

“Lord, I’m weary… but I trust You.”

Keep pushing ahead.

Don’t you dare give up!
